One of 2858 M Coupes.
One of 1078 for the year 2000.
One of 2180 S52 engined M Coupes.
One of 363 Titanium Silver with Black Nappa interior.
The engine is the S52 from the E36 M3. 240HP and 236 lb-ft.
Manual 5 speed.
Factory Harmon Kardon stereo with CD. No CD changer.
Sunroof.
And, of course it has the usual AC, electric windows, power seats, etc.... It's not the 80's anymore
I purchased it Oct 2002 with just over 18,000 miles.
As far as I could tell, I'm the third owner.
Never been smoked in.
Only driven in the rain 4-5 times.
Never tracked with the exception of two autocrosses.
I've done regular maintenance and tried to keep records but I've moved 5+ times in the lat 14 years and lost some stuff.
The car is almost exactly as I found it. There are a few, small rock chips.
The lower edge of the bumper was scraped when I found it and never got around to fixing it. Plus, one of the former owners was from Illinois and had a front plated mounted.
There was damage to the underside under the passenger seat. Photos in the flikr link show damage and repair. No suspension, wiring, plumbing or anything else was touched. Just a small hole under the passenger seat.
The throw out bearing is starting to make the end of life sound but functions just fine. The clutch shows no issues.
The wheels have always bees on the worn side. No rash, just that it looks like someone before me cleaned the passenger side with scotch brite.
I had planned on replacing the clutch, paint the wheels and mount new rubber (have new tires in the basement). But all the time I spend on a car is time spent not working towards my goal of self employment.
The initial price with repairs was set at 29K.
Am listing it at 26K.
