Produced from 1998 through 2002, the BMW M Coupe was born from an internal skunkworks project and arrived as one of the most unlikely and rewarding performance cars of its era. Essentially an M Roadster fitted with a shooting brake roofline, the revised body transformed the car's rigidity and handling balance while creating one of the most distinctive silhouettes in BMW's modern history.
Powered by the 3.2L S52B32 inline-six linked to a ZF five-speed manual transmission and limited-slip differential, these Z3 M Coupes offer the analog feel of ’90s M-car performance with driver-focused amenities like heated sport seats, sunroof, air conditioning, cruise control, and high-end sound system.
This example is finished in Titanium Silver Metallic over Black Napa leather with a sunroof, reportedly one of 196 in this configuration. The car’s 17” Style 40 silver-finished alloys — often referred to as “Roadstars” — are specific to the M Coupe and Roadster and are wrapped in BFGoodrich G-Force Comp-2A/S tires.
Additional features include limited-slip differential, lowered and stiffer M suspension, M-tuned springs and dampers, Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) and traction control, wider rear track and wide rear fender flares, and quad exhaust tips.
Inside, the car is equipped with a leather-wrapped steering wheel, cruise control, and a CD player with Bluetooth, MP3, and WMA. It also has power steering, brakes, windows, door locks, and seats.
This 2000 BMW M Coupe is now offered at no reserve by the seller on behalf of the current owner with a tool set, an owner’s manual, limited service documents, and a clean Michigan title in the current owner's name.

Additional Information
The current owner states, "My car is an example of a well-maintained, lower miles M Coupe in close to stock configuration. I am the sixth owner, and the CARFAX service history shows regular maintenance has been performed. The car starts, runs, and drives great and smooth. There are no oil or fluid leaks visible under the car. Equipped with power windows, sunroof, wipers, interior light switches, headlights, A/C, and heat, and gauges in center console work as they should. The rearview mirror is crystal clear and no leaking. No subframe cracks or any indication of weld spots coming apart. I would not hesitate to drive this car across the country in its current condition.
“I have been fully transparent about known imperfections. The airbag light stays ‘on’ due to the seats having been removed by prior owner and/or dealer to replace passenger side pre-tensioner (May 2024), and the airbag module needs to be removed and sent in to have the ‘hard fault’ rewriting with good data.”
