This 2002 BMW M Coupe is finished in Estoril Blue Metallic over dark gray and black Nappa leather and is powered by a 3.2-liter S54 inline-six paired with a five-speed manual transmission. The car spent time registered in California before the current owner’s 2013 acquisition, and they have since added approximately 8k of the 25k indicated miles. This M Coupe is now offered in California on dealer consignment with a window sticker, manufacturer’s literature, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Montana title in the name of the owner’s LLC.
This M Coupe is the only non-sunroof example finished in Estoril Blue Metallic over dark gray and black Nappa leather for the North American market for the model year. Features include front fender vents, a rear window wiper, and quad exhaust outlets. The selling dealer states that the front bumper and hood have been repainted and the windshield has been replaced. Paint-meter readings are provided in the gallery.
The 17″ Style 40 wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires. The car is equipped with Dynamic Stability Control and All-Season Traction (AST), and braking is handled by four-wheel ventilated discs.
The cabin features dark gray and black Nappa leather covering the heated sport seats, door panel inserts, and center console. Amenities include air conditioning, cruise control, an AM/FM cassette stereo, and a Harman Kardon sound system.
The M-branded leather-wrapped steering wheel features tri-color stitching and frames a tachometer with an 8k-rpm redline, a 170-mph speedometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates just under 25k miles, approximately 8k of which were added under current ownership.
The 3.2-liter S54B32 inline-six features double-VANOS variable valve timing and a Siemens MSS 54 engine management control system. Output was factory rated at 315 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a ZF five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential.
The window sticker shows initial delivery to Brecht BMW of Escondido, California, and lists factory equipment, colors, options, and a total suggested retail price of $45,635. Manufacturer’s literature is also included in the sale.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists registration history in California and Montana.
