2000 BMW M Coupe E36/8 E368 better known as the clown shoe.  I lusted after this body style when it was first shown at the Chicago Auto show back in the late 90s, and was fortunate enough to purchase one close to the height of their popularity and of course paid a premium.  I have owned this coupe since June of 2012 and 95K miles, the coupe currently has 108,4XX miles and is driven about once a month so miles will increase slightly.  Clean title without any liens, in my possession ready to be signed over.

I have done extensive maintenance, scheduled and preventative over the course of my ownership to include the expensive subframe/trunk floor reinforcement.  I have also upgraded a lot of parts that began to fail over time with either aftermarket or OEM/OEM+.  I'll list in detail items that I think are considerable to potential buyers performed under my ownership.

Paint is 8/10, there is chipping on the front from rocks/sand and scuffs under the front bumper.  Most notable is from a tire shop technician who couldn't drive manual and let the clutch slip out nailing the underside on the lift ramp.

Interior is 8/10, bolster wear and just age, no cracks or rips.

The bad; AC is not the greatest, it will blow cold but takes a while to cool a car in Florida summer if sitting outside--not a priority since it's not a daily driver.  The HVAC temperature control is also bad, I have a take off from a donor M Roady but have not had the need to replace it since the car is only driven in fair weather and is fine to be left on cold.  The radio works but the amp sometime cuts out, it is aftermarket not OEM.  The PO had a serious stereo with subwoofer, crossovers and what not that was removed.  Not sure why the amp cuts out at times but I listen the exhaust and drive train noises, again radio is not a priority in the car for me. 

I believe my asking price reflects the condition of the Coupe but I am open to offers and adult conversations if you would like to counter.  Please feel free to reach out with any questions before the you hit buy it now or make an offer.  The car is located in Tampa Florida and can be seen weekday afternoons and most weekends.  I will only allow test drives with proof of funds, no joy riders.  If you bid on the car please have your payment method figured out beforehand, most banks will not extend you a loan, if you need financing I suggest PenFed Credit Union or JJ Best Bank.  Once an offer is accepted I expect a $500 deposit within 24 hours via PayPal that is NON refundable and the remaining balance due within 3 business days via bank wire or cash in person.  Buyer is responsible for shipping, I can hold the car for one week after purchase in my garage without charge and will bring the car within a 5 mile radius of my home to meet a transport driver.  I have shipping/received many cars and can assist with the process but the buyer is ultimately responsible.  There  is no warranty on this vehicle; expressed or implied via writing or verbally--car is sold as is.
