Seller Description

A great chance to buy a rare collectible car at an affordable price. The S54 engine M Coupe was produced in 2001 and 2002, with only 690 examples produced in the US market.

I have owned and cared for this 2001 BMW since 2004, when I purchased it with 34K miles. Now it has 69K adult driven miles, garage kept, never been in an accident and never raced.

The car has sensible, high quality upgrades that improve the overall driving experience like Bilstein struts and shocks, H&R mild lowering springs and H&R sway bars. Since this is a street car it was important for me to improve the daily driving comfort while improving the overall handling.

The mufflers are stainless steel Remus and 2 stainless steel resonators were added to eliminate the rasp.

Wheels are high quality OZs with Michelin Pilots.

The defects are a chip in the hood paint and a small tear in the side bolster of the driver's seat. Other than that it is ready to go with no need to do anything.

Contact me with your questions, and please no low ball offers or disrespectful people. Since I'm reluctant about selling this car, it's important for it to go to a good home.

Very cool 1 of 2 color combo with laguna seca blue interior. Sounds like it's been well taken care of with a pretty nice suspension, exhaust and wheels. The couple issues seem to jsut be aesthetic. He did have bearing issues and replaced his engine with an S54 out of an E46 M3 with 20k fewer miles that had had the rod bearing recall performed. I don't consider it a big deal and could be seen as a plus. I think it's a great deal.
