Seller Description

The BMW Z3 M Coupe made a bold statement upon its launch in 1997, eliciting both admiration and debate among automotive enthusiasts and journalists. Its distinctive design, crafted by renowned designer Chris Bangle, defied convention with its long bonnet, compact rear, and wide wheel housings, setting it apart from traditional sports cars of its era. Powered by the most potent version of BMW's straight-six engine, the “S54,” the Z3 M Coupe ensure there would be an exhilarating driving experience before the design work was even completed. Embodying BMW's commitment to innovation and individuality, the design of the M Coupe drew inspiration from iconic BMW sports cars of the past, such as the legendary BMW 328 Mille Miglia. With its wider track, quad exhaust pipes, and exclusive accents like oval overtaking mirrors and chrome gills reminiscent of the classic BMW 507 Roadster, the M Coupe exuded a powerful and unmistakable presence. Whether carving through mountain roads or tearing up the track, the M Coupe captivates with its unrivaled performance and undeniable charisma, solidifying its status as an icon among sports cars.

Reserve not met at $31,313. I didn't have too high of hopes for Hagerty Marketplace yet. It's marked as sold on the dealership website though, so may be a side-deal was reached.

This coupe has been at Enthusiast Auto several times over the years, but we haven't seen it since 2018. It only has a few more miles in all those years. No photos yet, and the price is pretty crazy though.
