Very, very rare 2001 M Coupe with the S54b32 engine (315hp). Produced only two years with this engine, 1136 exemplary in the world and 690 in North America. It is ensured as a Collection car by my insurance company since I've imported from the USA. Model never sold in Canada.
It got 107,000 miles or 171,000 km, I am the owner of the car since for the last 7 years and have been very well maintained, according to the rules of art. She has never been on a race track.
I always use synthetic 10W60 oil as required and BMW oem filters, oil changes every 8000km (The owner's manual recommend 15 000 miles). There Motul oil in the transmission and the differential and the Red Line in the power steering.
She is equipped with adjustable coil-over model DMS 40mm gold. There is a Rogue Engineering strut brace. Also there are steel braided lines on brakes and the clutch. The clutch is made of Kevlar, stronger without being disagreeable in traffic. The flywheel is made of Chromoly therefore lighter than the original. PS: I still have all the original parts.
The small weak points: scratch on the rear bumper by a hit and run in a parking lot. Some stone chip at the front of the hood. Also occasionally there are the lights of the DSC (Dynamic Sability Control) that light up, it is a problem with the ABS module the lights go off by itself when I close contact and turns it back on after a few minutes. It happend about eight times in the summer, the part is $ 300.
Extremely fun car to drive!!
