Seller Description

This 1999 BMW M Coupe is finished in Boston Green Metallic over Dark Beige Oregon upholstery and is powered by a 3.2-liter S52 inline-six linked with a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Equipment includes 17″ Style 40 wheels, a sunroof, a Harman Kardon sound system, air conditioning, cruise control, and a Bluetooth-capable Kenwood stereo. The car has been registered in California since September 1999 and the seller acquired it in July 2021. They have since added approximately 1,400 of the 142k indicated miles. This M Coupe is now offered with spare parts, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.

This M Coupe is one of 60 finished in Boston Green Metallic over Dark Beige Oregon upholstery for the North American market for the model year. Features include a sunroof, front fender vents, a rear window wiper, and quad exhaust outlets. The seller reports that the front bumper and right rocker panel have been repainted, and they note a loose right hood vent.

The 17″ Style 40 wheels were reportedly refinished during current ownership and are mounted with a mix of Michelin tires. The car is equipped with Automatic Stability Control and braking is handled by four-wheel ventilated discs. The seller states that a solid steering rack flex disc has been fitted.

The cabin features Dark Beige Oregon upholstery covering the heated sport seats, door panel inserts, and center console. Amenities include air conditioning, cruise control, an alarm system, and a Harman Kardon sound system. A Bluetooth-capable Kenwood stereo is fitted and the headliner was reportedly replaced during current ownership. Noted imperfections include wear on the driver’s seat and a missing rear speaker cover. The removed factory stereo is included in the sale.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a tachometer with a 6,800-rpm redline, a 160-mph speedometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The seller notes wear on the steering wheel. The digital odometer indicates 142k miles, approximately 1,400 of which were added under current ownership.

The 3.2-liter S52B32 inline-six features VANOS variable valve timing and was factory rated at 240 horsepower and 236 lb-ft of torque.  The seller notes the oil pressure switch was replaced during their ownership.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a ZF five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The seller reports that a braided stainless-steel clutch line has been installed.

A removed factory stereo, a license plate frame, and manufacturer’s literature are included.

The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists registration history in Michigan and California.

The miles are high, but it looks to be in really nice shape overall. The owner up until last year had had it since 1999 and 6500 miles which is pretty cool. It looks to be pretty much all stock. Bidding up to $15,000.00 so far.
