I'll be sorry to see this go to a new home. I've owned and enjoyed it for nearly 20 years, but I have had five surgeries on my knees, as well as an injury to my left Achilles tendon, both of which make it both hard to drive a manual and hard to get into the car.
The car is in fantastic shape and runs extremely well. Starts instantly. Runs and shifts smoothly. It is not without a few flaws. The alarm system doesn't work and I only have one key. The Check Engine light is lit, but my mechanic says it needs a new mass air meter, which is an emissions issue, not a performance one. He quoted $1500 to fix it.
It was involved in a low speed collision many years ago that required replacement of the hood and a few small pieces. Airbags didn't deploy. Cosmetically, it has a few stone chips to the paint, but no significant issues. The wheels were powder coated when the clear coat on the wheels deteriorated. It is equipped with an old analog style cell phone on the console. The cover for the phone was cracked somehow. The only alterations to the car are a replacement rear view mirror, for better safety, and a K&N air filter. The car has never been raced. It is missing it's jack and the fix-a-flat canister. These cars didn't come with spare tires.
