Condition: Before me, this car lived its life in SoCal being driven by an elementary school teacher (?) where it put on 37k miles. Since about 8 months ago, I have been the owner, and put on another 4,500 miles.

The interior of this car is absolutely pristine as you can see from the interior shots. There is no bolster wear on the passengers seat, and hardly any on the drivers seat, in is a 10/10.

Mechanically the car is top notch, runs perfect (no cel) and hauls ass. Car was inspected before I purchased, and I keep an eye on the subframe. Exhaust is loud, make no mistake! I will include (2) 18" vibrant resonators with the sale, or they may be installed by then. 10/10

Exterior of the car is in very good shape, however, the horizontal surfaces are showing their age. I did my best to photograph the paint condition of the hood where it is the worst. The best I can describe it is as a light "speckling". According to my paint guy, this is due to vehicles sitting in rain and/or sun over time. The vertical surfaces are great, the majority of the pain issues lie on the hood and roof. Paint is 7/10. Body is nearly perfect with 2 very very very light dings. I can't even get them to photograph. 2 of the wheels have chips in them which I have attemted to photograph.

My Comments

Sold 5/7/11 - Sold for $25,250. Steve, you got a good deal on a really nice coupe!

3/30/11 Update - Priced reduced to $26,000 from $27,000 making it an even better deal.

12/10/10 Update - Priced reduced to $27,000 from $28,000. If the modifications are up your alley, I think this is a good deal!

This is a beautiful black on black S54 coupe. It's easy to see that the owner is indeed meticulous in its care and detailing. The modifications are all very nice and relatively subtle. The stance with the Ground Control coilovers is pretty much perfect, and I really like the interior upgrades he's done. You can be pretty confident in a coupe owned by an active Bimmerforums member. I definitely think it's worth the asking price.
