If you’re reading this posting then I don’t need to tell you the rarity of this beauty. I’m only posting as I don’t drive her as often as I originally intended to and would like for her to go to another BMW enthusiast like myself.
This is a So. Cal M Coupe that’s been here all it’s life. I’m the third owner. All matching numbers-no accidents, two keys, original window sticker, all literature and extra OEM parts.
- 2001 last year M Coupe made in Germany
- Originally sold at Irvine BMW in 2001
- Purchased two years later (2003) by the last owner at Irvine BMW and remained in his possession for 16 years in the Bakersfield area until I took possession (have certified BMW documentation from this owner).
- serviced at Bakersfield BMW under his ownership
- professional respray done with no road chips, scratches, swirls etc
Since my ownership I’ve driven her less than 1000 miles (took ownership June 2019) with 723xx miles, I have other toys and this one was babied, covered and garaged. Currently at 728xx.
The M Coupe’s engine is 100% stock. No subframe issues. All maintenance up to date (oil, spark plugs air filter).
Under my ownership I’ve purchased new:
- OEM floor mats
- OEM M trunk mat
- OEM Stone Guard
- OEM Door handle seals
- Ceramic tint by Mike’s Tint Shop
- Bluetooth kit for business radio
- OEM illuminated ZCP weighed knob (still have original)
- Fuel pump (she’s a squirter) and fuel filter
- Euro OEM clear front turn singles (have originals)
- New belts and pulleys (squeaked on cold starts)
- KW V1 adjustable coilovers (have original suspension)
- WORK Meister S1 3 piece (4 month wait, still have original wheels) -NITTO NT05
Interior is very clean, I personally did all of the cleaning and treatment for the black leather.
Things to address would be the rear view mirror, the self dimming isn’t working, the temp gauge (VDO) isn’t reading. And that’s it. She’s turn key ready to go.
