Seller Description

This 2001 BMW M Coupe was ordered new in by the seller and is powered by a 3.2-liter S54 inline-six paired with a five-speed manual transmission. The car is finished in Laguna Seca Blue over a blue and black Nappa leather interior and features a limited-slip differential, power sunroof, harman/kardon sound system, and heated sport seats. The seller has modified the vehicle with a Whalen shift knob and Euro-style clear turn signals. This M Coupe has 10k miles and is now offered with removed factory parts, factory literature, a window sticker, a car cover, a clean Carfax report, and a clean North Carolina title in the seller’s name.

The M Coupe is set apart from the standard Z3 by a model-specific front bumper, side vents, flared rear fenders, and quad exhaust tips. This example is finished in Laguna Seca Blue, and the seller notes that paint protection film has been installed on the front clip and rear fender flares. Euro-style clear turn signals are fitted with amber bulbs, and the removed factory parts are included in the sale.

Staggered-width 17″ Style 40 wheels are wrapped in 225/45 front and 245/40 rear Michelin Pilot Sport tires showing 2001 date codes.

The interior is upholstered in Laguna Seca Blue and black Nappa leather and features heated sport seats. Amenities include a power sunroof, a harman/kardon sound system, air conditioning, and cruise control. Modifications include a polished stainless steel Whalen shift knob, and the removed factory shift knob is included in the sale. The seller reports that while the auto-dimming rearview mirror is functional, it has a fluid line through the lower third.

The leather-wrapped M steering wheel frames a 170-mph speedometer, a 9k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The digital odometer has 10k miles.

The 3.2-liter S54 inline-six is equipped with individual throttle bodies and produced 315 horsepower and 251 lb-ft of torque when new. The oil was changed in 2019.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a ZF five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Additional photos of the underside are provided in the gallery.

The Carfax report indicates no accidents or damage and shows history in North Carolina through the most recent entry in 2017.

Sold to a high bid of $100,678 or $105,678. Awesome! For what it is, it could look like a decent deal in a few years.

One owner LSB with 10k miles? This is lined up to brake some pricing records. I wish there were more professional photos, but everything looks good to me. Whoever buys it should get the rear view mirror fixed ASAP before it drips on the perfect center console.
