Seller Description

Up for sale is my 1999 BMW M Coupe. Only 6,857 M Coupes were produced worldwide between 1998 - 2002.

There were a total of 2,180 S52 (1999 - 2000) produced and of that number, only 397 in estoril blue.

Please read entire ad and email me with any questions, I made every effort to be as thorough as possible & have priced the car competitively with the mileage in mind. Serious buyers only.

I am the fourth owner - purchased in June 2013. All previous owners were local CA Bay Area residents & service records all available.
1st owner leased the car from 1999 - 2001
2nd owner bought the car at Stevens Creek BMW as CPO with 44,000 miles in December 2001
3rd owner bought the car at 169,000 miles
Car was serviced at BMW during warranty and then at RennWerks in Campbell since then. I have had the car serviced by my personal mechanic in Mountain View.

I originally bought this car with plans to modify and drive it. Life and work got in the way and I have 3 other cars that I regularly drive. This car is garaged and on a battery tender.

Clean Title - no bodywork done and no accidents

This car is 18 years old and was driven regularly which is what they were built for. That being said there are notable flaws which I am listing below for full disclosure:

- Headliner is starting to lightly sag
- Paint chips on the hood
- Keyless entry remote is not working
- Wear on drivers seat

- Driver Side Window Regulator Replaced
- Replaced both driver and passenger side bulbs
- Replaced drive belt tensioner assembly & drive belt idler
- Replaced both door lock actuators

Looks pretty much stock besides the ZHP shift knob. The current owner seems like a knowledgable enthusiast and has done some good maintenance. It does need some TLC as expected for the high mileage, but the price seems fair to me.
