Seller Description

Make no mistake, just because this car spends a lot of time in the garage, it’s no garage queen. The ///Monster walks the line between street car and weekend warrior car. This car is an exercise in form follows function with several very purposeful & practical modifications.
It is up to the buyer to decide which way to take this car. Continue on a path to being an even more solid weekend track & autocross toy or maybe make it more street oriented. It would even be possible to return the car to near stock condition if that’s what you want to do.

You'll find additional notes on some of the photos as you browse through the gallery.

Items that need attention:
Headliner is loose in several places.
A/C needs to be recharged.
May need the transmission shift pin maintenance performed. Spirited downshifting requires double clutching sometimes.
One of the wheels has some significant curb rash (see photos).
AeroCatch hood latches are not installed with the pins (included with the sale) however they are functional with aircraft wire. The factory hood latch is still in place and functioning as well (see photos).
Rear hatch lift struts need to be replaced.
Some form of rear subframe reinforcement was applied. It’s not pretty however it has prevented any of the known tearing (see photos).
SC & intercooler piping could stand to be refreshed.
Tires will need to be replaced those on now are are 4+ years old & were heat cycled past peak almost 3 years ago.

Why I’m selling. I have loved my behind-the-wheel time with this car, with all the modifications it is a thrill to drive. This car demands a slightly higher level of attention to maintain it’s performance level and I am simply looking to simplify things. I do not plan to stray to far though, once this car has found it’s new home I’ll be on the look out for a nice 2004+ E46 M3.

You may recognize this wide front end from various photos floating around the Internet. I know I did. It will take some upkeep, but there's absolutely no way you could build something similar for the asking price. I think it will take the right buyer, but it's an amazing deal for the person that will appreciate it.
