Seller Description

A short rundown:

95k approx.
315hp S54 engine (same as E46 M3)
5 speed manual transmission
Black Sapphire with Black interior
Sunroof
Michelin Pilot Sport tires with good tread- approx. 8/32

Mods:
LeatherZ armrest with cupholder
ProjectorZ headlamps with 50W HID
stock parts as well

Passed inspection by my mechanic last August when I bought without any issues, nothing noted that needed attention.
Replaced fluids- Castrol TWS 10W60 engine oil, Redline D4 trans oil, Redline 75W140 rear diff oil
Replaced air filter
Needs rear hatch shocks (they don't work well in cold weather), drivers side floor mat backing coming off, passenger side window slider needs cleaning and lube (it's slow, common issue)

I'm selling it because my insurance agent misquoted me massively on insurance and I bought the car on a lark- I really don't need a second sports car and don't need the payments right now. Absolutely nothing wrong with the car.

I'm the second owner, bought it from the BMW dealership where the original owner traded it in on a new 550i.

Because there is a lien on the title, payment would go to BMW Financial, who would then release the title and forward it to the buyer directly.

Asking $17,000.00 USD- check the price against what other M Coupes sell for and you'll see that it is a great deal.

My Comments

3/18/11 Update - Not sold, but the seller decided to keep it.

This is a great deal for a clean titled S54 coupe with no paintwork. The current owner just purchased it in August after the original owner traded it into a BMW dealership. It's in very nice shape for the mileage. The only issues seem to be some wear on the driver seat bolster, some roadrash on the front bumper and hood, and some minor curbing on the wheels. Overall, it's obviously been well taken care of its entire life. At this mileage of S54 engine, you'd probably want to look into having the rod bearings replaced, but at this price it's a minor issue.
