2001 BMW M COUPE

SOLD on or around August 23, 2015

66,000 miles

$30,000
Asking Price: $32,500
2001 BMW M Coupe in Black Sapphire Metallic over Dark Beige Oregon
  • Exterior Color Black Sapphire Metallic
  • Interior Color Dark Beige Oregon
  • Engine S54

Seller Description

BMW produced only 678 of these exceptional "shooting brake" autos. The S54 engine produces 315hp and 261 ft# of torque. Only 6 of this model are for sale currently across the US with an average asking price above $42,000. These are the rarest BMW's ever produced and are expected to continue to appreciate in value.

The coupe I'm selling is an unmodified 2001, wrapped in Black Sapphire with a dark beige Oregon leather interior, heated seats, sunroof and Harmon Cardon Am/FM/CD system. It is three owners from new, currently has 66,000 miles with new tires 4,000 miles ago and has never been raced or tracked. Current services including 60,000 mile service are completed and up to date.

Back on the market at $32,500 and a better description. It has about 10,000 more miles. It's nice that the 60,000 mile service is complete.

Added a few more photos and some additional condition information from the seller:

I did not have the wheels done. Two are fine. Two have light scraping. I can't imagine much more needs to be done, but I'm no expert. I bought the car as a driver then realized it wasn't my cup of tea. I had a new new shift lever put in and a new cup holder because they were both broken. Also the left rear suspension sagged a bit so I had that fixed. There is a small 2" scrap on the rear bumper and a very light scratch on the passenger side left bolster (low inside). Leather is not broken, just a slight discoloration. Little things wrong with cars bothers me so this car has no issues. Front clip resprayed last winter. Prior owner had an accident with a bicycle and respray was poorly done. I had it corrected. No body damage and rather than blend the paint I had the entire clip redone.

No photos posted, but this coupe was for sale last summer for just $22,500 on BringATrailer.com. That price looks especially crazy now given the current price still seems like a pretty good deal.
