2000 BMW Z3M Coupe
Available now is this beautiful Z3M Coupe. These BMW M cars are timeless designed and extremely fun / quirky to drive. Our Z3M is refinished in Imola red exterior with full black nappa leather interior. The paint shows nicely overall with just a few minor small rock chips. The body is very straight and has all matching vin tags except for driver door. The car maintains all factory glass and has a accident free clean car fax. The car is very stock, the factory road star wheels are still on it with older Kumho tires (date code 2017). Wheels do have some minor rash but are not bent and are straight and true. Car sits very nicely on its factory BMW shocks while the front and rear sway bars have been upgraded to reduce body roll. The headlights are pristine and clear and are not scuffed or faded.
Nappa black leather interior is in good condition. The heated seats show minor bolster wear as expected mostly on the driver side for a car with 87k miles. Power seats work as they should, as well as power mirrors, windows and power sunroof. An aftermarket radio has been added for more updated functions that weren't available with the original. All the gauges in the center console function as factory including the clock. A new ZHP weighted shift knob has replaced the original. Our Z3 was optioned with the harmon kardon speaker system from new. Pop open the rear hatch and under the carpet you find mostly all the tools present and locked in. The cover for the hatch area is present as well as the cargo net as seen in photos. Pop the hood and you find the heart of the car the S52 in line 6 cylinder engine. Under the hood you see the vin tags present and the engine is basically stock other than a ITG carbon fiber cold air intake.
The car is powered by a 3.2-liter S52 inline-six paired with a five-speed manual transmission. The 3.2-liter S52B32 inline-six features VANOS variable valve timing. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a ZF five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The car has stock headers and exhaust with all factory catalytic in place to pass any emissions or smog test needed in any state. In the cluster there is no error or warning lights on. The car turns on effortlessly and has a very steady idle. A full comprehensive service was just carried out that included but was not limited to the following.. Coolant temperature sensor, output shaft seals, transmission seals, all new shifter bushings, front brake calipers, fresh oil change, thermostat, thermostat housing gasket, and serpentine belt.
This is a very fun car to drive, the 240 horsepower propels the car from 0-60 in less than 5.4 seconds stock. The coupe boasts stiffer springs and a larger anti-roll bar. With the coupe's perfectly balanced 50/50-percent weight distribution, its body feels solid -- even around the sharpest corners. The M Coupe holds a special place in the BMW pantheon.
