Seller Description

Rare 2000 BMW Z3 M Coupe

A very fun car for the analog driving enthusiast.

In excellent condition – but by no means a garage queen or “perfect.” This is a car for driving!

Active Autowerke supercharger + intercooler + oil cooler

Lightened flywheel
Bilstein Sport dampers + H&R Sport springs
Strut brace + camber plates
Subframe reinforcement
10 and 15mm wheel spacers front & rear
Short-throw shifter

The original supercharger setup ran great but would run out of breath in the upper RPM reaches, so Rhom Innovations addressed this with:

M50 intake manifold (using the good Turner Motorsport adapter kit)
Porsche MAF
Custom cold air intake
And extensive dyno tuning

She’s now even more fun to drive!

Prior to me, car was long-time-owned by Autohaus Bayern (from 2003 @ 34K miles). Under my stewardship (since 2017 @ 107K miles), car has continued to be well cared for, getting whatever it needs (which hasn’t been too much – mostly typical maintenance and wear stuff, plus various upgrades mentioned here). I did return the car to stock appearance (refinished stock wheels + stock exhaust from a low-mileage donor + stock CD43 stereo head unit). The 18” Hartge wheels and custom sport exhaust (significantly lighter) that came on the car are available but not included in sale.

128,756 miles as of today, 3/13/21 (will go up slightly in the meantime)

A hoot to drive!

Please call rather than text or email with questions (I’m best reached before 7:30pm)

Thank you.

Fair warnings:

  1. This car has a way of turning quick errands into mini adventures. It’s not uncommon for me to go get gas… and end up finding myself taking the backroads to the coast, or end up in some corner of our PNW. Definitely, the car has a way of making one find the long route home.
  2. This is not the car to blend in. You will get looks and thumbs-ups. And a lot of people approaching to talk cars.

INCLUDED:
- extra supercharger traction fluid
- spare belt
- stock intake manifold
- original active autowerke tune
- original roof antenna
- owner's manuals
- complete stock toolkit
- HID conversion kit (that came on the car that I removed)
- firestone lifetime alignment service
- 4 keys
- and knickknacks

It sounds like it's well put together and has several expensive upgrades and lots of extra parts too. It's in really nice shape for the higher mileage. The price seems fair to me.
