Seller Description

This 2001 BMW M Coupe was sold new through BMW of Mount Laurel in Marlton, New Jersey, and was acquired by the selling dealer in 2011. The car is finished in Titanium Silver Metallic over an Imola Red and black Nappa leather interior, and power comes from a 3.2-liter S54 inline-six mated to a five-speed manual transmission and a factory limited-slip differential. Features include a sunroof, heated seats, air conditioning, cruise control, and a Harman-Kardon stereo. This M Coupe is now offered by the selling dealer with a clean Carfax report and a clean Michigan title.

The M Coupe was distinguished from the standard Z3 with front fender vents, wider rear fenders, and a revised front bumper cover. Of the 678 M Coupes built for the 2001-2002 model years, 11 were finished in Titanium Silver Metallic over Imola Red and black Nappa leather with a factory sunroof.

Staggered-width 17″ alloys wear 225/45 front and 245/40 rear Michelin Pilot Sport tires. Pictures of each corner can be viewed in the gallery.

The interior is upholstered in Imola Red and black leather. Features include a Harman-Kardon stereo, power-adjustable heated seats, air conditioning, cruise control, and a leather-wrapped M Sport steering wheel with tri-color stitching.

Instrumentation includes an M-branded 9k-rpm tachometer, a 170-mph speedometer, an analog clock, and gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, outside temperature, and oil temperature. The digital odometer shows 58k miles, less than 100 of which were added by the selling dealer since 2012.

The 3.2-liter S54 inline-six is equipped with individual throttle bodies and sends power to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The last service performed was an oil change and inspection in March 2011.

Additional underside photos can be viewed in the gallery.

The accident- and damage-free Carfax report shows registration history in New Jersey and Michigan through its most recent entry in March 2011.

It doesn't really have any new miles since we last saw it way back in 2011 which is kind of crazy. It will probably need some servicing to get it back to daily drivable. I love the color combo though and it looks to be all stock. It will be interesting to see how it does. Bidding is currently at $2,001.
