Seller Description

1999 BMW M Coupe in Estoril Blue. Some history; I am the fourth owner (carfax shows three). The first owner owned the car in North Carolina until June of 2011. It was then sold by a dealer to a gentleman in Florida in July of 2011. From what I understand, that owner then traded it to the third owner back in North Carolina in January of 2012. I then purchased the car in February of 2012, and have owned it since that time. It has been a great car, and I have personally put about 7000 miles on it in that time. Upon purchasing the car, I had a new metal impeller water pump, fan clutch, and tensioner pulleys installed. I also installed remanufactured front M brake calipers, new front Zimmerman rotors, and new Akebono pads for all four corners. I also replaced the secondary air pump and secondary air pump valve. In addition, I added a lighted ZHP shift knob, and armrest bundle from Leather Z. I recently replaced the ITG air filter that is part of the Conforti cold air intake system. The side markers and front turn signals were replaced with clear (I have the originals), and the grills were replaced with black replacements. The car runs very well, and is in very good condition. The exterior does show road wear in places. There are touched-up stone chips on the hood and front bumper, but nothing very noticeable. There are also a few small dings, but again, nothing very noticeable. I had the wheels powdercoated to the later shadow chrome look, and tires were replaced with Continental Extreme DW's. The interior is clean, the drivers side bolster is in good shape. I had a leather repair person redo the bolster to bring it back to top shape. The rear view mirror was replaced with a smaller one from another BMW. New BMW M floormats were recently added. The first owner was a BMW CCA member, and was extremely vigilant with maintenance and repairs. Some of the items that were added. Supersprint Magnum Cat-Back Exhaust, K-Mac Camber Plates, 75% Limited Slip Conversion by Korman Autoworks, Top-End rebuild by Korman Autoworks in 2007 ($9,373), Rebuild included new Aluminum radiator and oil cooler, and oil pan baffle, M50 Intake Manifold conversion, short shift kit, and Conforti Cold Air Intake. I have a stack of records that go with the car, mostly from the first owner. I have receipts for parts and repairs for most of the work I have done to the car. Lots of great maintenance and new parts. It also has a pretty good history. I think it's a good deal all things considered.
