Seller Description

I am selling my 2000 M Coupe. The original BMW M Coupe is a shooting-brake styled high-performance automobile produced by BMW. Only two generations of the M Coupe have been manufactured, this one being the original E36/8 M Coupe. The 2000 M Coupe came with BMW’s S52 3.2 liter inline six cylinder engine (similar engine as the North American E36 M3) with 240 HP and 236 ft-lbs of torque.

Sold for four short years from late 1998 to 2002, only 2180 M Coupes were sold in North America.

This particular M Coupe has an even rarer two-tone exterior/interior color combination: IMOLA Red exterior and NAPPA/IMOLA Red sport seats and interior colors with only 201 produced.

As a result of their relative rarity, the M Coupes retain more of their value than any other BMW since the E30 M3. In short, this S52 engine 240 HP M Coupe is a minor automotive miracle: It’s extremely rare, stunningly unique, immensely capable, and (yes) a supremely practical sports coupe.

The previous two owners of this M Coupe we’re BMW enthusiasts that have done extensive maintenance and upkeep to this M Coupe to keep it in top running condition.

The previous owner owned this M Coupe from 89k miles to 113,678k miles. He added H&R Coilovers, Megan exhaust, stud kit and wheel spacers, tinted the windows and installed an E50 intake manifold. Here is the additional list of maintenance items he provided to me that were done during the owner he bought it from and himself.

  1. Replaced Waterpump (metal impeller) and thermostat at 72k miles
  2. Installed Stainless steel clutch line and brakeline at 74k miles
  3. Replaced the drive shaft flex joint (Guibo), output shaft seal, shift rod seal at 83K miles
  4. Replaced the Power steering hose, return line and reservoir at 84k miles
  5. Replaced the rear shock mounts at 99k miles
  6. Changed spark plugs and fuel filter at 107k miles
  7. Installed H&R Coilovers at 110k miles
  8. Replaced both pre-cat O2 sensors at 111k miles

Since I have purchased this M Coupe in April 2016, I have done this most recent list of updates during the last 2000 miles: It currently has 115,800 miles.

VIN: WBSCM9345YLC61568

This M Coupe looks and drive amazing for the year and mileage and has no issues with the rear subframe of trunk floor. I’m asking $23,500 which I believe is a fair price for this well maintained M Coupe. Please let me know if you have any questions.

I hope my M Coupe will find a buyer who will appreciate it for many years!

Not sure if it was traded in or on consignment, but it's not at a local Cadillac dealership.

This was a nice coupe when it was previously for sale. It's only gotten even nicer. The new control arm bushings, refinished wheels, new brakes and new tires are the highlights. The photos are awesome! With the great condition, I think the price is fair.
