Fantastically maintained, all original Clown Shoe. Every major component has been replaced at least once: VANOS, driveshaft/guibo/csb, cooling system, timing chain and tensioners, struts/shocks (Bilstein), clutch, you name it. All OEM with the exception of Bilstein and Rogue Engineering rear shock mounts. Rear trunk floor frequently inspected, no signs of failure.
Paint is remarkably clean -- a sincere, “you have to see it to believe it” quality. Front bumper resprayed by previous owner to clean up rock chips. Car is free of scrapes and dents.
New tires and oil change to start 2021. Get in and go.
All currently known flaws:
- Left side instrument cluster illumination out (have set of bulbs)
- Left side HVAC illumination out (have set of bulbs)
- 5th gear detent wear
- Lower steering shaft has some play in the rubber “guibo” (noted on PPI) (BMW PN 32311092644)
- Wheels have imperfections. Passenger rear has paint flaking. All true and round.
- I’d want to lower it :)
