1999 BMW Z3 M Coupe
I have for sale a 1999 BMW M Coupe, in Red with all Black interior. I searched for a while to find one with this color combination, as most seem to have the two-tone interior colors, and I wanted all black. The car has just 80k miles and is powered by a 3.2-liter S52 inline-six and paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. I purchased the car in October 2016. I took it to the local BMW dealer as soon as I returned home. I had a few items fixed at that time, front tie rods, coolant flush, and the cruise control replaced, as it was not working. I have a copy of this invoice. This bill was +$4k. The A/C work, blows cold. I also have a car cover. I keep the car in my garage and I do not drive the M in winter. The car has a clean Michigan title and it is in my name.
Items to note:
-wheels all have road rash from curbs. I was going to wait to find some nicer wheels on Ebay or take them to have them repaired.
-driver’s side door needs adjustment; it’s sometimes sticky to open. The dealer told me that it would require a new latch and it didn’t bother me enough to fix it.
-the headlight leveling adjuster seems to be broken. They point down the road ok now, just a little out of alignment.
-there are a few ‘dings’ (hard to see, but see photos – ask me if you’d like me to take more photos)
-I have a Carfax from when I bought the car. There was an accident in 2002. The damage must have been minor as title is clean and not ‘rebuilt’.
Long time BMWCCA member. I have other cars (including another red M coupe) and I'm slimming down my collection to something more manageable. This would be a great car to drive daily, or drive at BMWCCA or car events. The values of these odd-looking M cars seem to be rising.
Please let me know if you have questions. I can email you more photos if needed. Thank you.
