1999 BMW M Coupe Rare

These cars are incredibly rare. Each one was hand built in Greer South Carolina. The 99's came with the ultra reliable S52 engine straight from the E36 M3 with a slick shifting 5spd and limited slip differential.

1999 BMW M Coupe, imola red w/ imola & black leather interior. 72k miles, Harman Kardon stereo, heated seats and moonroof. Great condition, never tracked or driven in snow/salt & maintenance records since almost new. All stock w/ the exception of stainless steel custom mufflers w/ quad DTM tips. The exhaust sounds amazing!! Also added an audio jack. Thule bike rack negotiable. Have always used synthetic engine oil. Recently completed 60k miles cooling system maintenance done (metal impeller water pump, aluminum cover, etc). Runs great & no mechanical issues.

Electronic odometer shows 60xxx miles but original one was replaced by BMW under warranty at 12xxx miles due to a deffective gas gauge (have all dealer records reflecting that). I also have the carfax and I figured the average BMW owner would be intelligent enough to realize there was no odometer fraud. I have all records going back to the original owner.

Has new Continental DWS tires. Interior is in excellent condition with minimal wear on both side bolsters. Z3 glove box fix already completed as well as seat bushings.

I guess it did not sell last month. Must have just been waiting to relist until spring. The price has been reduced to $20,000 from $23,500 making it a much better deal.

12/13/12 Update - Price reduced to $23,900 from $26,500 which is a little better.

I thought i recognized the words in this listing. It's a modiified version of this coupe's previous listing. This coupe sold about a year and a half ago for $14,300. It still looks pretty good, but the roof rack and audio jack are the only changes I notice. The new tires, glove box fix, and seat bushings are plusses. The price is a minus.
