Last year for BMW s original and most sought-after M-Coupe. With only 23 produced in this color combo, and only 2 with the rare Sunroof Delete option, you are not likely to see another M-Coupe like this one on the road or at your local BMW car show..

Out of the 690 S54 powered M-Coupes produced during 2001 -2002, only 195 S54 cars were produced in 2002. (The 315hp S54 M-Coupe engine was conservatively rated by BMW as to not compete with the M3, even though it is the same S54 engine that was rated at 333hp in the M3.) Only about 10% of M-Coupes received the rare Sunroof Delete option. Add to this that Gray was a low production color choice, especially when coupled with the Red/Black interior, and you have a very rare find in an M-Coupe (this color combo is highly desirable in ultra high-end sports cars such as BMW, Ferrari and others). Additionally, with this car having only 7K miles, being pampered the entire time, and after having been purchased from a private car collection 4 years ago, this car is in Concours de Elegance condition. Which means you will not find a cleaner, more perfect, or more rare M-Coupe than this one!

This car is just as BMW intended it to be at the time of its production and is showroom perfect. Additions are a DINAN software upgrade that takes the car up to 350hp and 3M Clear-bra applied by the local BMW dealer.

Sold 1/24/11 - Yep, it sold. The good news is that its staying in the area, so I'll still get to see it from time to time :-).

11/30/10 Update - Price reduced to $46,995 from $49,500. As far as coupes go, I don't think there is a better collector out there - 1 of 2, completely original, ultra-low miles, final year of production, and in the best color combo (IMO).

8/20/10 Update - Now that I'm out of the market, I'd be more than happy to provide anyone with a third party review of the car as I've both seen it in person several times and driven it.

I've seen this car in person, and it's the real deal. It looks like it came off the showroom floor yesterday. It's been meticulously maintained by an avid car guy. If you're looking for an original coupe in pristine condition, this is your car. This rare but desirable color combination with sunroof-delete option makes this just one of two such coupes made. In thise case, I feel the price is warranted given the rarity, very low miles and showroom new condition of this beautiful car. If only I had the money...
