Seller Description

Extremely rare car that will surely appreciate in value over the next few years. If you are unfamiliar with M coupes imagine a Z3 on steroids. BMW fitted these with the legendary E36 M3 engine, a motor so beefy that you shouldn't be surprised if PETA stages a protest on your front lawn. If you haven't had impure thoughts about an automobile this may just be the one to get you started.
-Smogged within the week, runs awesome
-A/C cold
-Doesn't have a sunroof! (Makes the car even more rare, not to mention perform better with the reduced weight and greater stiffness)
-Exterior and interior in great condition, excepting: minor paint chips above driver door, few rock chips front hood, minor paint scrape lower front bumper, side bolster wear driver seat, curb rash on wheels
-Clutch grabs high, may need replacing at some point

The price difference is basically $15,500 as is or $20k with the clutch replaced. I'd get it and do the clutch yourself.

Now listed b Vacaville Honda for $20,000. I'd try to buy it through the Craigslist ad.

It could use some aesthetic tlc, but could be a pretty good deal for a do-it-yourselfer. The sunroof-delete helps the relatively common color combo. I think the price is very fair.
