The time has come to sell my model year 2000 M-Coupe. This car is a joy to drive but after 17 years of enjoying this unique sports car it is time to pass it on to someone else.

The M-Coupe, is BMW engineers reimagining of the Z3 convertible as an enthusiast sport car and almost immediately became a classic collector car combining performance, unique styling and rarity with BMW importing fewer than 3000 to the USA from 1998 through 2002. The M-Coupe departs from the Z3 by having the more powerful S52 3.2 litre 6-cylinder engine producing 240 hp and other performance enhancements.

I've owned this M since 2005 and kept it in California. It less than 96,000 mostly city miles. The car is Cosmos Black Metallic exterior with black Nappa leather heated seats, sunroof, leather wrapped steering wheel and leather shift knob.

Recent maintenance includes new exterior door handle gaskets, leather shift knob and floor mats. Engine oil, coolant, brake fluid and spark plugs recently replaced by dealer with battery, tires, vamos oil line, seat bushings and MAF duct replaced within last 2 years. Passed CA smog in April this year without incident. This car is accident free although rims, front bumper, hood and roof were repainted last year due to rock chips/sun damage and just underwent a paintless dent repair to remove minor dings previously mentioned in this ad. Interior is in good condition as shown in pictures except for where material shrinkage on both door panels caused a short length to pull loose from the window (see photo). Maintenance records for my time of ownership available for review. Car is fully stock except for the addition of the Z3 tire change kit. A BMW car cover is included along with an aftermarket emergency spare tire although this was not originally supplied in the M-Coupe.
