This 2000 BMW M Coupe is finished in Cosmos Black Metallic over black leather and is powered by 3.2-liter inline six mated to a five-speed manual transmission and limited-slip differential. The Carfax report notes “severe damage” as a result of a front-end collision with another vehicle in June 2001, and a salvage title was issued in August 2001. An aftermarket MOMO steering wheel frames a silver-bezeled gauge cluster that houses a 160-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. Auxiliary instrumentation located in the center stack includes an analog clock and gauges for voltage and oil temperature. The digital odometer shows 42k miles, approximately 13k of which were added by the seller. The Carfax report notes that the airbags deployed during the 2001 accident.
The 3.2-liter S52 inline-six was modified in 2000 with an AC Schnitzer exhaust system in addition to a Dinan ECU chip, cold air intake, throttle body, and airflow meter. A Dinan front strut tower brace has also been installed, and the seller states that service in 2021 included an oil change and replacement of the spark plugs.
