Seller Description

I purchased this car from its first registered owner in 2003, and subsequently added 15k of the just under 39k miles it now has. The car is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic over Imola Red and black Nappa leather and powered by a 3.2-liter inline-six paired with a five-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes a limited-slip differential, a power glass sunroof, a KW coilover suspension kit, 18″ Fikse wheels, heated sport seats, and a Harman-Kardon audio system. This M Coupe is now offered with service records, factory literature, removed factory wheels, a clean Carfax report, and a clean New York title in the my name.

The exterior is finished Arctic Silver Metallic, and equipment includes flared fenders with front vents, a sunroof, a hatchback-mounted spoiler, and quad exhaust outlets. The windows are tinted, and clear front marker lights are fitted. The front bumper shows scratches and two gouges, and close-up photos of the paintwork, trim, and glass are shown in the gallery below.

Fikse 18″ wheels with black centers and polished barrels are mounted with 12.5mm wheel spacers. The wheels wear Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires measuring 225/40 up front and 265/35 out back. The suspension is modified with a KW coilover kit added in 2015, which also included replacement front strut mounts, upper strut reinforcement, and rear shock tower mounts. I personally have been servicing the car and a few weeks ago did an oil change, brake fluid flush, and transmission fluid flush.  The original factory 17″  RoadStar wheels are also included with the vehicle (they have minor road rash on them).

The interior features heated and power-adjustable sport seats trimmed in Imola Red and black Nappa leather, along with a matching dashboard, center console, and side panels. Amenities include cruise control, air conditioning, M-logo floor mats, power accessories, and a Harman-Kardon audio system. A Valentine-1 radar detector has been hard-wired above the rear view mirror, and a LeatherZ center armrest, door arm rests, and door lock pins were added.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts a 160-mph speedometer and an 8k-rpm tachometer, along with gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. Auxiliary gauges are mounted in the center console. The digital odometer shows under 39k miles, approximately 15k of which were added by me commuting.

The 3.2-liter S52 inline-six was factory-rated at 240 horsepower and 236 lb-ft of torque, which is sent to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual gearbox and limited-slip differential. I personally performed yearly fluid charges.

The August 2020 Carfax report lists no accidents and shows history in New York from two registered owners through its most recent entry in July 2019. The failed safety inspection was a result of window tinting (New York State changed their rules, so I had to remove the previously allowed window tint from the front windows.)

There is minor cosmetic damage to the front bumper, as shown in the photos.

Now on Ebay with the price reduced to just $25,000 and no reserve from $30,000 and a buy-it-now of $27,500. Great deal!

No on Craigslist with an asking price of $30,000. That seems like a pretty good deal to me.

I love the Fikse wheels on this coupe and the KW coilovers are nice too. It's had only two onwers and has been pretty lightly driven the past 17 years. The interior is obviously my favorite and it has the rare LeatherZ Mark I armrest with Homelink installed in it which is really cool. The miles are relatively low and it looks to be in as good of shape as you'd expect. Bidding is at $15,000 so far.
