This is my 2000 BMW M Coupe for sale. It is Cosmos Black Metallic with a black interior. This car only has just over 46,600 miles on it. It is mainly stock beside some tinted turn signals on the fenders and bumper, window tint (35% up front, 12% in the back), and some stereo upgrades. It had the harman kardon stereo system in it, but to be honest, it sounded aweful. I upgraded the stereo to a Panasonic CD/MP3/WMA player with a detachable face. I also upgraded all the speakers with Hertz Audio Dieci coaxles and component speakers. They sound much better, produce a more accurate sound, and with a subwoofer added, sounds amazing in this little car. It is prewired for an amplifier and subwoofer to be added. 4 guage power and ground wires, RCA cables, and remote turn on cable is all in the back under the stock sub and amplifier plastic case. The BMW has a very nice (and loud) aftermarket alarm on it, don't know the brand, came with the car. I have 2 remotes for it. The interior is all black leather and looks very nice, with only minimal wear on the driver seat where you slide in and out. Outside, this car looks flawless. I bought the car from my dad who has owned it since 2005. It was involved in a wreck and became a salvage title car. It was bought this way to repair. There was only body work done on the vehicle, with one fender being replaced and the rest repaired and repainted professionally. The paint on this car is amazing. It has been sanded with 2000 grit sandpaper and polished to a glass-like finish (see below for a picture of the reflection off of the hood). All work was done in our family owned body shop. Although this is a salvage vehicle, all work was done right and I do not think you will find one that looks as nice as this, especially for the price. I have been driving it for the past 2 summers, not including this year because I haven't driven it yet! It is very mechanically sound; I have not had any problems at all with the way this BMW performs. It is an extremely fast and fun vehicle! If you are looking at buying this car, then you already know about them. They are extremely rare and extremely fun! It takes corners like a go-kart. Last summer I put Falkin tires on and they only have about 5,000 miles on them.
My reason for selling is a couple of things. For one, I am 6'4". Enough said. Second, I didn't drive this car in the winter and would like to buy a vehicle that has 4WD. Third, I need a truck to haul my dirt bike. So in short, I'm looking to buy a truck and cannot afford to have both. I am not looking for trades on any kind, unless you have a low mile 2007 Avalanche...
Once again, please know that this is a salvage title vehicle, but has been repaired professionally to look better than new. It have very low miles for a year 2000 vehicle.
Thank you for looking.
