Seller Description

Highlights

THIS... is a 1999 BMW Z3 M Coupe, finished in Imola Red with an Imola Red and black interior.

  • The attached Carfax history report lists no accidents in this M Coupe's past. It also shows California ownership since new and registration to one owner since 2003.
  • According to the build sheet provided in the gallery, notable factory equipment includes a limited-slip differential, a power sunroof, Nappa leather upholstery, heated seats, and a rear cargo cover.
  • Notable modifications reported by the seller include Dinan Performance Engine Software, Bilstein shocks and struts, H&R lowering springs, Performance Friction Carbon Metallic brake pads, a lightweight flywheel, 17-inch TSW Croft wheels, and a Sony head unit.
  • Colloquially known as the Clownshoe, the Z3 Coupe joined the Z3 roadster in showrooms for 1999. Like its convertible counterpart, it used several E36-sourced parts, but it stood out with an unusual, shooting brake-like silhouette that blurred the line between a coupe and a hatchback. The M model benefited from the same 3.2-liter straight-6 as the M3.
  • Power comes from an S52 3.2-liter straight-6, rated at 240 horsepower and 236 lb-ft of torque in stock form. Due to the modifications performed to this M Coupe, it may produce more power, but a dyno sheet was not provided to confirm. Output is sent to the rear wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission.

It's nice to see a long-term owner. Modifications I see are the Bilstein/H&R suspension, TSW wheels, Sony radio, aftermarket exhaust, and ACS Type 2 rear spoiler. It's in pretty good shape overall for the higher mileage. Bidding up to $6,500.00 so far.
