Seller Description

This 2002 BMW M Coupe was initially delivered to International Autos of West Allis, Wisconsin, and it remained with its original owner for 16 years registered in that state. The car spent the next seven years registered in California and Oregon, and it was purchased in 2025 by the seller. The car is powered by a 3.2-liter S54 inline-six paired with a five-speed manual transmission, and modifications include an aftermarket exhaust system, Bilstein Sport B8 front struts and rear shocks, H&R springs, a ZHP-sourced shift knob, an AutoSolutions short-shift kit, and a Pioneer stereo. Additional details include a limited-slip differential, Steel Grey Metallic paint, a sunroof, 17″ Style 40 wheels, and heated sport seats trimmed in Black Nappa leather. This M Coupe has 65k miles and is now offered with a window sticker, an October 2020 service record, a damage-free Carfax report, and an Oregon title.

This M Coupe is one of 36 finished in Steel Grey Metallic (400) over Black Nappa leather for the North American market for the model year. Exterior features include a sunroof, front fender vents, a rear window wiper, heated side mirrors, and quad exhaust outlets. The trunk struts were replaced in October 2020, and a scratch is noted on the left-side of the rear bumper cover.

The car rides on Bilstein Sport B8 front struts and rear shocks, and it also has H&R springs. The Shadow-finished 17″ Style 40 wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 tires measuring 225/45 front and 245/40 rear. The car is equipped with Dynamic Stability Control and All-Season Traction (AST), while braking is handled by black-finished calipers fitted over cross-drilled rotors at each corner. The brake rotors and pads were replaced in October 2020 along with the strut mounts.

The cabin features Black Nappa leather covering the heated sport seats, door panel inserts, and center console. Further interior amenities include a Pioneer stereo, a ZHP-sourced shift knob, an AutoSolutions short-shift kit, air conditioning, cruise control, a Harman Kardon sound system, and a retractable cover and net for the rear cargo area.

The M-branded leather-wrapped steering wheel features tri-color stitching and frames a tachometer with an 8k-rpm redline, a 170-mph speedometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 65k miles, approximately 3k of which were added under current ownership.

The 3.2-liter S54B32 inline-six features double-VANOS variable valve timing and a Siemens MSS 54 engine management control system. Output was factory rated at 315 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque, and an oil change was carried out in January 2026.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a ZF five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential, and the car has an aftermarket exhaust system.

The window sticker lists initial delivery to International Autos of West Allis, Wisconsin, as well as factory colors, equipment, and a total suggested retail price of $45,935.

The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage. It also lists at least one open recall.

There is currently a lien out on the car, and the seller’s lender will need to be paid off before the title can be transferred to the new owner.

We've seen this coupe for sale a few times over the years. It has picked up some decent upgrades including an Einsenmann exhaust, Bilstein/H&R supension, ZHp shift knob, and aftermarket audio. I of course love steel gray coupes. It has a nice opening bid of $35,000.00 so far.
