Seller Description

Doug's Take

I've always loved the BMW Z3 M Coupe, as it's an incredibly quirky and special car – and it's no secret that these have become extremely desired by enthusiasts. This particular example is finished in a striking color combination – Imola Red with a matching Imola Red interior. This M Coupe is also unmodified, and it features some great factory equipment, like a set of 17-inch Style 40 wheels, a limited-slip differential, and a Harman/Kardon sound system. Plus, it comes with a clean, accident-free Carfax report, for added buyer confidence.

Highlights

THIS... is a 1999 BMW Z3 M Coupe, finished in Imola Red with an Imola Red interior.

  • This Z3 M Coupe features a 5-speed manual transmission.
  • The attached Carfax history report contains a gap from 1999 to 2005, though it shows no accidents or mileage discrepancies for the given time period.
  • According to the window sticker provided in the gallery, factory equipment includes 17-inch Style 40 wheels, a limited-slip differential, Nappa leather upholstery, heated sports seats, air conditioning, a Harman/Kardon sound system, and a CD player, among others listed below. The seller reports no modifications.
  • The E36/8 or "Clownshoe" M Coupe has become sought-after by enthusiasts for its unconventional aesthetic and engaging driving experience. Built as a hybrid of the E30 and E36 chassis, the M Coupe combines hatchback practicality, a capable engine, and a competent chassis in one, analog package.
  • Power comes from the S52 3.2-liter inline-6 engine, rated at 240 horsepower and 236 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to the rear wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission.

It's been over 10 years 65k miles since we last saw this sunroof-delete coupe at Enthusiast Auto back in 2012. It still looks really nice. The only real issue I see is the crack by the AC button in the center console. Bidding up to $15,000.00 so far.
