First thing.....this Coupe has a recent salvage title. There was absolutely no body damage. The insurance company salvaged it because there was no availability of a part (rear trailing arm) anywhere in the U.S. or in Europe....so they took the easy route out. The car was driven home. Essentially the coupe ran over a road obstruction that hit the right rear tire and bent the right trailing arm and knocked the rear axle carrier just enough to warrant its replacement. The axle carrier was available at the dealer although we did locate used parts in exceptional condition that allowed replacement of the trailing arm and the axle carrier.
