Here it is folks…. DreamCarXchange is thrilled present this two-owner, 45k mile 2002 BMW M Coupe, finished in the highly sought-after Laguna Seca Blue! This final year M Coupe S54 is equipped with a 5-speed manual transmission and is finished Grey/Black Napa Leather interior color combination. BMW only produced 41 Laguna Seca Blue M Coupes, ever! It was purchased from Crevier BMW in Santa Ana, CA in May 2002 by the original owner and then purchased by the most recent owner in June 2007 when that owner lived in Oregon. In June 2017 the owner moved to New Jersey where the car resides today. It currently shows 45,618 miles. The only modification is a Dinan intake and early generation iPod connections and interior cupholders, which are all reversible if desired. The selling dealer just completed a full maintenance in addition to installing new tires. It is being sold with the original window sticker, maintenance documents and the original intake. It has a clean CARFAX and a clean New Jersey title.
The M Coupe was introduced by BMW to the United States in 1999. For model years 2001 and 2002 it was upgraded from the S52 engine to the S54 engine which increased power from 240 hp to 315 hp. The S54 engine is a 3.2 liter inline six-cylinder that was rated by BMW at 315 hp @ 7400 rpm and 251 lb-ft of torque @ 4900 rpm when new. The only modification to it is a Dinan intake. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission and limited slip differential.
