Awesome Estoril Clown Shoe on offer with 145000 miles and full history of two owners, the first being the dealership owner's family until 5000 miles, then one owner since. The car runs and drives beautifully with full maintenance just done along with lots of other upgrades. I am a BMW technician and shop owner and know these cars well. This car was garage kept and I have the maintenance records from new. It is in terrific condition, was originally owned by the Kuni family here in Portland where it has lived it's whole life.
It came to my shop needing the rear body repair at the differential mount and I bought it at that point. We installed the Randy Forbes reinforcement kit, including the e36 differential cover which has two mounts instead of the stock single attachment point. This is a huge job requiring the removal of the rear subframe and rear interior. The rear end of this car will now support any power you want to throw at it.
During the body reinforcement job, we installed new Bilstein Sport dampers and H&R Sport springs, H&R front anti-roll bar, new shock and strut mounts and bearings, new Lemfoerder control arms, '95 M3 solid control arm bushings, new front wheel bearings, brake pads and rotors, urethane rear subframe mount bushings, resealed the differential, 10 and 15mm wheel spacers F&R, and thoroughly cleaned the entire underside of the car. The suspension is now almost completely new and it drives perfectly. The sticker price for this work is over $15000.
It has a new Autosolutions short shift kit which I consider to be the best on the market and Remus rear mufflers that sound fantastic, otherwise it is stock. Full maintenance service includes fresh engine, transmission and differential oils, brake fluid. My detailer spent two days on the car including removing the seats for full carpet cleaning, underbody and wheel well cleaning, trim-off paint polishing, and leather treatment. It is super clean and looking great.
Carfax shows one accident in 2005 and paperwork includes the Kuni BMW dealership repair invoice for $3180 so it clearly wasn't that bad. Other than that, the Carfax shows clean title, no structural damage, regular service, confirms odometer and ownership history. Complete service records from 5000 miles onward included.
The tires have very few miles on them but are old. If I were keeping the car I would remove the tires and have the wheels painted, but I figured I would leave that to the new owner so you can get what you want. I'm happy to facilitate that or any other work or modifications you might want. I have an OBD1 intake and Superprint headers, Schrick cams and other things that could go on it - what are you looking for? We can build it.
