This 2002 BMW M Coupe was purchased new by the current owner from Steve Thomas BMW in Camarillo, California and first registered in Arizona, where it now shows just over 21k miles. The car is finished in Titanium Silver Metallic over black Nappa leather and is one 687 US-spec examples equipped with a 3.2L S54 inline-six paired with a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. This example was optioned without a sunroof, and modifications include a Dinan strut brace, air intake, lowering springs, and camber plates, as well as a Remus exhaust. An oil change and inspection were performed in preparation for the sale. This final-year Z3M Coupe is offered on consignment with service records from new, factory books and manuals, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Arizona title.
The M Coupe was distinguished from the Z3 roadster with wider rear quarter panels, fender vents, and a revised front bumper cover. Just 19 non-sunroof, S54-powered M Coupes were produced in Titansilber Metallic (354/7) over black, and window tint has been added along with clear front corner market lens. Close-up photos of the paint, trim, and body panel VIN tags are viewable in the gallery below. The provided Carfax report shows no history of accidents or other damage.
Staggered-width 17” Roadstar wheels were refinished in dark gray and mounted with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires. Dinan lowering springs have been added, along with a Dinan front strut brace and camber plates.
Black Nappa leather covers manually-adjusted and heated sport seats, with additional stitched leather accents on the center stack and console. Other equipment includes a Harman Kardon audio system, power-operated windows and locks, and M-branded floor mats.
The main gauge cluster features a 170-mph speedometer, a 9k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for fuel level and temperature, while a trio of VDO gauges are mounted in the center stack. The digital odometer shows just over 21k miles, all added by the current owner.
The 3.2L S54 inline-six was rated at 315 horsepower and 251 lb-ft of torque when new, an improvement of 65 horsepower and 15 lb-ft over the previous S52 inline-six. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Modifications included a Dinan air intake, as well as a Remus exhaust. The selling dealer states that an oil change and inspection were performed in preparation for the sale by Ultimate Auto Works of Scottsdale, Arizona.
The February 2020 Carfax report lists no issues and shows registration history in Arizona through its most recent entry in November 2017.
