Been batting around the idea of selling it for awhile, but now with two moves on the horizon, I just can't justify keeping it (especially with an S54 coupe in the garage, the S52 hardly got driven as it was)
Its a 2000, about 124,000 miles
Cosmos Black over Kyalami Orange (very rare interior)
All new suspension bushings front and rear
Ground control coilovers (stiff! Need softer springs imo)
A/C needs a recharge
Needs a little work. Interior is pretty much pristine but exterior has some scratches and dings. Accident history in the past but repaired properly, was not reported to insurance and a clean title still.
I have more into this car than I know I will get out of it. I bought the car because I loved that it was a rare color combo. But ultimately, it being a rare color combo encouraged me to do something Ive always been against.... Let it become a garage queen. Even worse, an undriven garage queen. Im too afraid to drive it and damage the rare interior or have something happen to the car. I was also too hesitant to sell it because I didnt want to look at my kids some day and tell them I used to own one of those cars now fetching insane $. But thats also someone I dont want to be, an investor or collector. I want to have cars I enjoy driving. Life is too short to waste a garage space on a car I dont drive.
So im gonna sell this and my 2.3 roadster and buy what I really want after I move: an M roadster. Preferably S54 powered. But first I gotta sell this
