Seller Description

2002 MCoupe, StahlGrau on gray/black. 35k miles, no sunroof. Meticulously maintained and a cosmetics are nearly flawless. I had the rear driver fender and bumpers repainted last year to correct flaws, but car has never been in an accident. Always parked indoors, no rain. I am the second owner and have had the car for 6 years. Bought with 23K on the odo. First owner was actor Matthew Fox. Basically the whole history of this car is posted on this forum, from the purchase to all the mods.

The car is actually not far from stock, but has the following modifications: Motion motorsport splitters, HID lights, headlight protection, painted corner lights, 35% ceramic tint, OE front mud flaps, Strong Strut CL and Butt Strut, Rogue shock mounts and oil filter housing, B&B Triflo SS exhaust, painted rear spoiler, LED rear plate lights, Clarion ProAudio head unit with aux cable to center console, upgraded Polk speakers, wired Scan Gauge II code reader and gauges, Leather Z Mk 1 armrest and door rests in gray. Leather Z chrome/leather illuminated shift knob. Alcantara steering wheel tabs, shifter and parking brake boots, Whalen seat bushings, Whalen hood release, glovebox fix, custom aluminum pedal covers, Audi stubby antenna. Suspension is Koni/Ground Control coilovers with Ireland rear bushings. E30 3.73LSD (its humming though) and the stock 3.15. Dynamat on rear hatch surfaces, no creaks anywhere. Sport mode enabled with light in dash, OE switch with my own controller. Wheels will be 19" Hartge Classics with Sumitomo HTRZ IIIs and wheel spacers front and rear (10mm & 15mm). I do not have the Roadstars. Two NOAH covers, one for outdoors, one for indoors. Lots of extras, lot of receipts.

cons: My front passenger side splitter has a hairline crack in it from adjusting it during install. Its not noticeable, but it bugs me. Anything else would be really nit-picking, but extremely extremely minor.

Delivery to West Coast docks usually takes 2 weeks and costs about $1K via Pasha (drive up) or Horizon lines (container)

BBS LMs with Bridgestone RE01-Rs will be available as a separate sale.

I am looking for $32,500.

My Comments

2/24/11 Update - It never actually came back on the market officially, but it is now officially sold for slightly over $33,500 with the BBS LMs. Congrats Michael! You bought one of my all time favorite coupes.

9/22/10 Update - Not actually sold, but IslandS62 decided to keep it. Good decision!

This is one of the best looking M Coupes out there and very well sorted. All of his modifications are beneficial and only make a good car better. I believe him that the car is immaculate and has definitely been well maintained. The Hartge classics look good, but I'd try to make a deal for the gorgeous BBS LMs as well. I think the price is right considering how well sorted it is, the celebrity ownership (Matthew Fox), and the sunroof delete making it 1 of 8.
