Seller Description

1999 BMW M coupe for sale. Arctic silver with black interior. This collectible machine is in great shape and is a fantastic driver. Professional M50 manifold conversion; OEM manifold included for easy reversal to stock; Magnaflow exhaust; Shark Injector; short shift kit. Plenty of power and sounds and pulls like a locomotive. Good rubber, new belts, flex disc, battery, and hatch struts. Also included are the Bentley manual and Peake diagnostic tool. Lifetime subframe bushings and transmission mount bushings. Car is very clean with no corrosion or rust. Interior in great shape with no tears or holes in leather or elsewhere. Newer headlight lenses and virtually new front air dam. I've also put together a retrofit for a spare tire for this machine, a 17" wheel and new Continental tire and retrofit a jack and the tray that holds it beneath the hatch floor. The spare fits perfectly in the hatch area and makes sense when making a trip of any distance. Always garaged, pleasure vehicle only and not driven in wet conditions; enthusiast owned by non-smoking BMWCCA members. Strong S52 engine, great road feel, just a fantastic enthusiast automobile that will be missed. I've owned two of these cars and will have another someday but business interests require the purchase of a pickup or trade for one. Sold 1/22/12 - Listing was removed, so I think it sold. I also heard a rumor that the seller was thinking of trading it, so that's another possibility.

1/3/11 Update - Another price drop to $15,999 from $16,500

12/22/11 Update - Price reduced again to $16,500 from $16,900 making it an even better deal.

12/12/11 Update - Price reduced to $16,900 from $17,500 making it a good deal.

11/15/11 Update - Added sale price of $18,500 which is fair. I thought the photo loooked familiar. This coupe was for sale last December in Houston for $18,500, and they are actually real ACS Type III wheels. The other photos from the previous listing show them better. I also now know it has solid black interior, and if it's been kept up by the current owner, is in above average condition. It also has a magnaflow exhaust and Whalen shift knob.

No price or mention of interior color. Those look like Breyton Inspiration wheels to me which look similar to the ACS Type IIIs. It looks pretty stock otherwise. I would trade a Tacoma for it.
