Seller Description

This 2000 BMW M Coupe shows just under 51,500 miles and has been registered in California from new. Finished in Cosmos Black Metallic over Black leather, the car has been kept completely stock aside from an aftermarket stereo head-unit per the selling dealer. Power comes from a 3.2-liter S52 inline-six, which sends power to the rear wheels through a 5-speed manual transmission. This sunroof-equipped M Coupe is now being offered with its original window sticker and a clean California title.

The selling dealer acquired this car out of Palm Springs, California, and the Carfax report shows an accident occurring sometime between 2008 and 2010. The incident required a replacement hood, though the front fenders retain their factory VIN tags as detailed in the photo gallery below. The seller states that the car was repainted to match, and a repair record is included with the sale.

Factory 17″ five-spoke alloy wheels look to be free of curb rash or major flaws. They are shod with Sumitomo tires up front and BFGoodrich tires in the rear.

Inside, the car has been left stock aside from an aftermarket stereo head-unit. All upholstery appears clean in these pictures. The seat bushings are in need of replacement, and a new set is included with the sale per the seller.

All features are said to be in good working order. The odometer currently shows just under 51,500 miles.

The 3.2-liter S52B32 inline-six is paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox, both of which have been maintained in stock specification to the seller’s knowledge. The motor produced peaks of 240 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 236 lb-ft. of torque at 3,800 rpm when new according to BMW. The seller states that the car was serviced around one month ago.

The original window sticker is displayed above and in the photo gallery, showing an MSRP of $42,670.

The Carfax reports California registration from new, two owners, three service records, the aforementioned accident, and consistent mileage recordings throughout the years.

I never thought I would be selling this 2000 BMW Z3 M Coupe since I had it from brand new. They don't make cars like this anymore. I have all records of this car since day one. I have the window sticker, owners manual, vehicle service contract, service booklet and of course all the services records. I have the original paper plates that came with the car. I also added the original stone guards on the corner panels.

The car is brand new out of the shoe box. It is in EXCELLENT shape. You can do your own research on this model. The car looks like brand new, no problems at all. A/C works great, all options work fine. This was my once a month weekend car. I don't have much to say about the maintenance since its such a low millage car. Everything looks like new and not one scratch in the interior. Its always garaged with car cover on it. I want this car to go to another enthusiast like myself. I will only let this car go to someone that will take care of it like the way I did. I had the car detailed and the three stripe colors on the rear emblem got removed a little bit, But I replaced it with a brand new one.

Reserve not met with a high bid of $18,755. I think this cars history is going to follow it unfortunately. The car itself seems pretty nice overall

Despite the very specific wording in the listing, this is not the original owner who sold it a couple months ago (I checked). It probably just hasn't been retitled since this person purchased it. This seller sold this coupe on Ebay a few weeks ago to a high bid of $26,200 ($26,000 reserve). It fell through though (contact me for details). It is a nice car though.
