Seller Description

This 1999 BMW M Coupe has 62k miles from new and is finished in Estoril Blue Metallic over a Dark Beige Oregon leather interior. This color combination was delivered on just 62 of the 2858 M Coupes produced according to the to the M Coupe Buyer’s Guide. The car is powered by the North American-spec S52 3.2L inline-six paired to a 5-speed manual transmission and remains mechanically stock. It was delivered with an optional sunroof and upgraded Harman Kardon sound system, and has been with the seller for 9 years. This M Coupe received a new clutch two years ago and is sold with an accident-free Carfax report and a clean Michigan title in the seller’s name.

The Estoril blue paintwork shows well with good shine throughout and no obvious chips, scratches, or other paint loss. The only bodywork modification is the addition of a high mounted spoiler on the rear hatch.

The exposed front airdam appears to have no major abrasions or parking rash. The seller notes one slight dent in the top of the hood that is described as barely visible.

Early M Coupes were fitted with a brighter silver finish on their five-pointed M Roadstar wheels. The wheels fitted here are in good condition, showing some typical curbing at the outer edges of each rim.

The Beige Oregon leather interior appears complete, showing no rips, tears, or damage. The heated seats remain clean for such a light color, with only a few abrasions to seat bolsters and a bit or wrinkling to bottom and back surfaces. Other light interior materials are also clean, with a few spots on door panels and discoloration to the carpets. All switchgear is clean and reported as functioning.

The 3.2L inline-six was good for 240hp when new and is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The engine bay appears tidy and is described as stock apart from an aftermarket intake.

Underbody photos show the car to be dry, with no signs of leaks, seeps, or rust other than typical surface corrosion. The seller reports a new clutch and service were done two years ago with less than 500 miles covered since.

The clean Carfax shows this M Coupe was driven 46k miles up to mid-2007 and has been more lightly-used since, averaging just 1,800 miles annually over the last nine years.

Another coupe on Bring a trailer. .This one looks pretty nice. It's pretty much stock besides the ACS Type 3 rear spoiler, cold air intake and LeatherZ armrest. The newer clutch is a big plus. I'm excited to see what it goes for.
