I did a little more research, it appears this is one of just 3 1998 pre-production S52s that was not scrapped. It looks like there's an imola red over imola red in Virginia and Cosmos over Kyalami Orange in Ontario, Canada.
It takes a special coupe to make me have to redo my database. Technically this is a 1998 M Coupe, so I needed to add one more year option. It's one of the 26 pre-production coupes built in late 1997 and early 1998. You'll notice it has rare headlight washers as well as orange side markers and tail lights. The rest looks pretty much production spec. It looks to be stock besides the cross drilled brake rotors and is in nice shape for the mileage. The price would be fair for the mileage and condition for a normal coupe, but I think it's a pretty good deal for a little piece of coupe history.
