Seller Description

From 1998-2000 BMW only sold 5,000 of these cars, and only 422 came to North America in Imola Red. With the same engine as the M3, but in a 199 pound lighter chassis, this car has go-cart handling and turns heads wherever it goes. The S52 inline 6 cylinder engine has 240 hp stock, but has been supplemented with Dinan carbon fiber intake, K&N filter, and Dinan software upgrade for added power. The 5 speed manual tranny and limited slip rear differential allow for blistering acceleration with a throaty growl from the stock dual exhaust . The M Coupe sits aggressively on a set of staggered 17″ BMW alloy wheels wrapped in Continental Extreme Contact P225/45R17 tires in the front and P245/40R17 tires in the rear with plenty of tread left. The interior is black leather and is in great condition. Pioneer stereo with integrated iPod control included (iPod connection hidden in glovebox).

Within the last 20,000 miles (4 years), the following maintenance has been done and is fully-documented:
New disc brake rotors and pads
New Bilstein rear shocks
New tie rod assemblies and front-end alignment
New struts and mounts
Replaced thermostat housing, thermostat, and radiator hoses
Replaced both window motors
New air intake boot
New Bosch plugs
New fuel filter
New NAPA Legend international battery in July '13
Redline synthetic transmission and differential oil
routine oil changes

This car has been registered in California and Arizona, and has no rust. Clean AZ title. VIN # WBSCM933XXLC60227.
Don't pass up the opportunity to own this rare car.

Listing removed; looks like it sold

It seems to be in decent shape for the mileage, but has had lots of great maintenance doen the past few years. The seller mentions a clean AZ title, but AutoCheck shows it had a salvage title in California from January 2003 in Hollywood. With a little aesthetic TLC, it would make a great driver. I think the price is fair.
