Seller Description

I bought the car with 54,321 in 2008. Always garaged. Texas car originally, previous owner was General Manager of Bimmers R Us in STL. Im the third. Has sunroof, 6 disc changer, heated seats, etc. a/c blows cold, everything works.

Only selling as I found another Coupe I want to buy - if this doesnt sell, it doesnt sell and Im happy to keep it.

I paid a premium (considerably more than Im offering it for) as it was a no stories car. All the panels match, the interior is clean, no dings, etc. Just inspected the subframe/diff mount last week and all is well - zero issues.

Clean carfax of course.

I have records from previous owner.

Maintenance/Modifications since Ive owned it:

54k: Trans/diff fluid swap – Amsoil, New guibo, butt-strut, RE RSM’s, Powerflex subframe bushings, Stoptech brake lines, Z3 clutch line, Amsoil 5W40

55k: M stitched shift/parking brake boots. Polished Whalen Motorsports knob. Pulled off the rear wiper and it now has a plug color matched in its place.

56k: Air filter, Spark plugs (Iriduim NGKs), fuel filter, TC Kline S/A’s, 500F / 600R, TC Kline camber plates, Alignment

57k: Oil change, Amsoil 5W40

60k: Oil change, Amsoil 5W40

61k: Ireland radiator, Stewart waterpump, SPAL fan/relay, 80c tstat and aluminum housing, lower temp fan switch, 6 new coolant hoses, coolant flush / BMW Blue, new expansion tank, Conforti air intake w amsoil filter, new belts, flushed power steering fluid, Castrol ATF

61,5k: Ireland oil cooler cap, VPD oil cooler, Earls t-stat fittings/lines

62k: New Zimmerman rotors on all 4 corners, Front Pagid Sport pads. Rears are OEM pads. 10mm spacer up front, Vorshlag studs. Rear has 15mm spacer with longer bolts

63,5k: Rogue trans mounts

Rear tires are pretty done, fronts are OK. Will change the oil next week probably.

Leatherique used on the interior, P21S used on the exterior.

Has a few stonechips up front, front bumper has a crack on the drivers side that I never felt the need to repair/repaint. It was on my list of things to do "one day" but never got around to it - its not bad at all, unless you look for it you wont see it. Some scrapes underneath on the front bumper from previous owner.

Let me know if you have any questions, no tire kickers please. Thanks!

My Comments

3/10/11 Update - This coupe was never actually relisted for sale but recently went to a new owner. In addition to the modifications listed in the original listing, it also now has 18" TR Motorsports wheels, Porsche brakes, and a Sparco steering wheel. It is in remarkably good condition for the mileage. I think the purchase price was fair on both sides.

6/22/10 Update - Not sold, but seller decided to keep it. Seems like a good choice.

It looks like it's in great condition and it's a no stories car. He's definitely kept good maintenance records and done some choice modifcations including TC Kline coilovers. The price is about right.
