Other Info:
I believe I am the third owner of the car, purchasing it at 23k mi in 2008. The first owner originally imported the car into Ontario from USA. I have all of the original owner's paperwork and invoices, as it was pampered there. Second owner, shipped it to Vancouver, and immediately put it in storage for 1 year before selling, as he moved to Europe. I have taken the car to 4 driver education days (not raced), with Porsche club and BMW club since owning it. Stored indoors always. Winter storage, indoors, under car cover from October-April.
Are there any Issues?
These are the only issues that I am aware of are:
A small piece of plastic is broken on the bottom mesh grill.
Minor oil weeping below the Vanos, (no drips)
Some minor curb rash on wheels (not by me, but never sent to get repaired)
Occasionally the OEM remote/alarm thinks either sunroof/hatch/hood is open, and will not lock remotely. It still locks & alarms when locked with key.
I want to be open and honest about all aspects of this car, as I know people look far and wide for this model of car. It took me a few years to find this one. So if there are any other questions, please contact me.
