The Z3 M Coupe was my dream car. I have owned many BMWs, including an S54 M Roadster, E39 M5, E36 M3, E90 M3, and an E30 325is, and this M Coupe is by far the most fun! It started with a 2000 Estoril Blue over black leather M Coupe that I owned for several years before sourcing a Eurosport Twin Screw supercharger. I sent the M Coupe and supercharger to Randy Forbes, who did the build, including, the head gasket, cooling system and oil cooler upgrades, TC Kline suspension, subframe reinforcement, and tons of other work to make it a safe and reliable build. Randy added a Race Logic traction control to optimize the power delivery. No expense was spared in the build, and it has proven to be a very reliable supercharged super-fast coupe. It will laughably destroy any stock S54, S65, or S62-powered BMW (I know because I have owned them all). I picked the best parts, the best supercharger known to man, the best traction control, and the best expert builder, making it a truly one-of-a-kind coupe. It is a rocket ship!

I have all of the records and receipts from Randy, as well as my records prior to the build, and they will come with the car. I have over 80K invested in the blue rocket, but have priced it realistically, recognizing you don’t get it all back on a build like this. That makes it a great investment for you, because you couldn’t build one for close to what I’m asking—if you could even find the parts and get a slot with Randy. I am selling it due to life changes (moving, divorce, etc), and while I don’t need to sell it, it’s time to find a new owner who will appreciate the hard work that went into building it.

As it sits, it’s a perfect driver's-condition M Coupe, being very presentable, but with typical flaws and age-related wear meaning that you can use and enjoy it. It always gets compliments and is well-received by the Cars and Coffee crowd. I have photographed it without detailing so you can see it in the raw (the best way to buy a car). Imperfections consist of small paint chips, scuffs on the front spoiler, UV fade on the rear hatch spoiler, small paint chips on the wheels, and some degradation of the door handle rubber. Inside, there is typical seat bolster wear, deterioration of the gear shift knob benzel, a crack in the center console trim between the switches (thankfully black is still available from BMW), and other typical wear you’d expect on a 20-year-old car. I’ve had the M Coupe mostly in storage for the last year or so, but it starts right up and has no glaring mechanical issues. The air conditioning is currently INOP (I recharged it several years ago, and it held the charge for a season), could be a slow leak or could need a compressor. The Race Logic traction control can be finicky at times, it might be worth reverting back to stock. The tires have older DOT dates and moderate tread wear, and should be replaced in the medium-term future.

I am the fourth owner, purchasing it in 2015. Under my ownership, it has split its time between West Virginia and Florida, it is currently located in Fort Lauderdale, FL. In 2018 I was backed into at a Cars and Coffee event. The front bumper cover was damaged, along with a dent in the hood. I had both repaired, which is reported on the Carfax. There was evidence of previous paintwork prior to my ownership (some VIN tags are missing or DOT), but nothing was structural or reported on the Carfax. It comes with a clean West Virginia title, two sets of keys, and the owners' manuals.

Price reduced to $32,900 from $36,900. Not sure what to say about a $4k price drop on a 5-star value coupe. Somebody better snag it fast.
