Seller Description

This 2000 BMW M Coupe is powered by a 3.2-liter S52 inline-six paired with a five-speed manual transmission and is finished in Titanium Silver Metallic over black Nappa leather upholstery. Equipment includes silver-finished 17″ Style 40 wheels, a limited-slip differential, a sunroof, a CD stereo, a Harman Kardon sound system, air conditioning, and cruise control. The car was registered to a single owner in New York and was acquired by the selling dealer in October 2021. The car was reportedly subjected to water damage in October 2021 and subsequent procedures performed by the selling dealer included disassembling and inspecting the interior, testing electrical component functionality, and replacing the fuel pressure regulator and other fuel system components. This M Coupe has 3,500 miles and is now offered with manufacturer’s literature, a Carfax report, and a branded North Carolina title.

This M Coupe is one of 231 finished in Titanium Silver Metallic over black Nappa leather for the model year in the North American market. Features include a sunroof, front fender vents, M badging, a rear window wiper, and quadruple exhaust outlets.

Silver 17″ Style 40 wheels are mounted with Continental ContiSportContact 5 tires measuring 225/45 up front and 245/40 out back, which were mounted in October 2021. The car is equipped with Dynamic Stability Control and All-Season Traction, and braking is handled by four-wheel ventilated discs. The brake fluid was flushed in September 2022.

The cabin features black Nappa leather covering the heated sport seats, door panel inserts, and center console. Amenities include air conditioning, cruise control, an alarm system, a CD stereo, and a Harman Kardon sound system. The Carfax report notes a water damage report and a flood title was issued in October 2021, and a salvage title was issued in April 2022. The selling dealer is said to have extracted, inspected, and cleaned the interior materials prior to reinstallation. Photos of the cabin with interior materials removed can be seen in the gallery below.

The M-branded leather-wrapped steering wheel features tri-color stitching and frames a tachometer, a 160-mph speedometer, and supplementary gauges. The digital odometer indicates 3,500 miles.

The 3.2-liter S52B32 inline-six features VANOS variable valve timing and was factory rated at 240 horsepower and 236 lb-ft of torque. Service in October 2021 included replacing the spark plugs, battery, fuel pressure regulator, and fuel volume control valve along with performing fluid services and a fuel system flush. A repair order and a September 2022 pre-purchase inspection are shown in the gallery.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Additional underside photos can be seen in the gallery below.

Manufacturer’s literature and M-branded floor mats are included in the sale.

The Carfax report notes the aforementioned water damage report in October 2021 and subsequent branded title issuances, and lists history in New York and North Carolina.

The North Carolina title is branded as salvage, rebuilt, and water/flood damage, and a redacted copy of the title can be seen in the gallery.

It has crazy low mileage and the interior looks pretty much perfect. The flood title is scary and it will be interesting to see how that affects bidding. It could be a good opportunity to get a virtually new coupe. Bidding up to $25,590.00 so far.
