For sale is my 1999 BMW M Coupe, Cosmos Black Metallic on Red/Black leather interior with no accidents, and only 58,xxx original miles. This is a rare car that you are not likely to see around, with only 2,800 produced over 4 years. This particular color combination of Cosmos Black with a Red interior and sunroof delete is highly sought after, and is 1 of only 12 that were made with the 240HP S52 engine. Factory options include heated seats, Harman Kardon sound system, and desirable cargo cover with net. It also has an aftermarket in dash CD player, but comes with the original BMW Business CD player if you want to return it to original. This M Coupe is quick, nimble, and gets thumbs up wherever it goes. Clean title, no liens, and has the following upgrades:

Upgraded engine software with cold air intake
Koni Shocks with H&R Sport lowering spring
SSR GT3 wheels

I have all original maintenance records going back to 2003, all maintenance is current, and typical issues/failure prone items have been addressed as follows:

Shift pins and shift pin bushings in transmission replaced(no gearshift flop)
Transmission shaft seal replaced(no seepage)
Stock rear subframe bushings replaced with Ireland Engineering polyurethane bushings
Rear shock mounts replaced with upgraded mounts w/reinforcement plates
Glovebox Fix installed(no sagging)
Delrin seat bushings installed(no rocking)
Plastic thermostat housing replaced with aluminum
New thermostat and metal impeller water pump installed
Fuel injectors replaced with updated Bosch stock injectors
CDV Deleted

Additional preventative maintenance that has been done in advance of schedule as follows:

Coolant, brake fluid, power steering fluid, transmission fluid, and differential fluid all changed recently. New power steering reservoir, new transmission mounts, and new driveshaft guibo also recently installed. No ABS, check engine lights, etc. All lights, switches, gauges, etc. work as intended. The only mechanical item that is not working 100% is the A/C system, which requires a DIY can of refrigerant every 8-10 months.

Interior is in overall 9.0 condition, with notable defects being some minor cracks around the bezel for the A/C switch and some light wear around the power window switches. No rips or tears in the leather, and the seat bolsters are in outstanding condition. Carpeting is spotless. Headliner is tight with no sagging. Rear view dimming mirror is flawless with no leaking.

Exterior is in overall 8.5 condition. There are no dents or dings, but there are other imperfections such as some small scratches, stone chips on the front and top of the hood, and on the top of the roof. These were all previous to my ownership and likely resulted from highway driving. I have not attempted to improve upon or retouch these in any way. If desired the next owner could address most of these with some careful time spent with a touch-up pen. Overall the paint is very clean and glows as it should. Windshield is original with no cracks, and one minor chip that has been professionally repaired. Wheels are arguably the most desirable wheels for the M Coupe: SSR GT3’s that are no longer made and nearly impossible to find in the correct M Coupe fitment(no spacers, perfect offset). They are 100% rash free and in 9.5/10 condition or better.

Price is $37,000 as it sits, and negotiable if I replace the SSR GT3’s with the stock wheels, which I have.
