Seller Description

This 2001 BMW M Coupe is finished in Titanium Silver Metallic over Imola Red and black Nappa leather and is powered by a 3.2-liter S54 inline-six paired with a five-speed manual transmission. Features include and a limited-slip differential, power sunroof, harman/kardon audio system, and heated sport seats. The car was sold on BaT in February 2020 and was subsequently acquired by the selling dealer. Recent service is said to include changing the oil and detailing the car. This M Coupe is now offered with a clean Carfax report and a clean Michigan title.

The M Coupe was distinguished from the standard Z3 by a revised front bumper cover, fender gills, wider rear fenders, and quad exhaust tips. This example is finished in Titanium Silver Metallic and is equipped with a power sunroof. The selling dealer notes that the hood was repainted by a previous owner, and close-up photos of the body and trim can be viewed in the gallery.

Factory 17″ staggered-width wheels are mounted with 225/45 front and 245/40 rear Michelin Pilot Sport tires.

The cabin is trimmed in Imola Red and black and features Nappa leather seating surfaces. Amenities include heated sport seats, cruise control, air conditioning, power accessories, and a harman/kardon sound system. A video of the interior can be viewed here.

The leather-wrapped M steering wheel features tri-color stitching and frames a 170-mph speedometer, a 9k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. An analog clock and auxiliary gauges are mounted in the center stack. The digital odometer has 58k miles, approximately 100 of which were added by the selling dealer.

The 3.2-liter S54 inline-six is equipped with individual throttle bodies and was factory-rated for 315 horsepower and 251 lb-ft of torque. The oil was changed in preparation for the sale. Start-up and idle videos are available here and here.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a ZF five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Additional underside photos are provided in the gallery.

The Carfax report indicates no accidents or other damage and shows history in New Jersey and Michigan through the most recent entry in February 2020.

This coupe was on Bring a Trailer earlier this year. I still love the color combo, but the new price seems optimistic to me.
